Slank dråbeformet vase fra 1920'erne, 21 cm. Moderne designHeight 21 cm. Beautiful slim vase from the 1920s with small feet. The vase is mouth blown, with a polished top edge and a solid blown knurled bottom, a technique we very rarely see. It has thin ribs that run along the entire height and end in the small feet of the vase. It is in perfect condition.
The cut was undoubtedly hand-cut

when Holmegaard switched to pantogafering of glass and a number of models must be assumed to be discontinued
The plate was designed by Christian Thomsen on the occasion of Empress Dagmar's 70th birthday in 1917
The Snerle glass first appears in Danish catalogues in 1867

Vases with all four seasons have been produced and they are all very rare today
On the back it is stamped HC Hertel
but has taken a little color on the edge
Ankerline is not to be confused with Quistgaard's more well-known line Købenstyle
The cup is in very good condition
